Lia FINALLY started soccer yesterday! I made the mistake of telling her WAY too early that she was going to take a soccer class in March and she kept saying "I want to play soccer now and march in the band!" (she didnt get that "march" was a month and not an action, hehe).
So we got to the park with all the other little 2-3 year olds and soccer began!

They started with some streches and running and then Coach Rachael showed them how to dribble the ball and then stop the ball.
They got to kick the ball through a big tunnel and then crawl after it and kick it into the goal.
Lia insisted on picking up the ball every 2 minutes and didnt understand why she had to keep putting it down, haha.
At the end we did a parent tunnel where all the parents stood with their arms in an arch and the little ones ran through while we cheered for them. Lia then got stamps on her hands and her soccer shirt which she is very proud of and will ask to wear everyday from now on I'm sure ;)

We do soccer every Saturday until the beginning of April and on the last day of class they play a little game--so that should be interesting!
So far I think Lia likes it and enjoyed herself!
