Lia's Ballet Recital

Lia had her first ballet recital in August. Her ballet class had been working all summer to learn their little routine and when it came time to do it on stage, it had its moments, but was super fun to watch!

I was able to volunteer to go backstage with Lia's class along with another mom and help all the girls get prepared and lined up, etc. It was great being back there with her for her first performance!

Instead of posting a million pictures on the blog, I have a new web page with all our pictures which makes it easier (thanks to some pretty hip ladies in NY for the idea: Meaghan and Regina). Lia's 1st Ballet Recital (August 9, 2008)

Lia is in ballet again this session, however there will not be a performance (they only do that for the summer sessions), but she is really enjoying it and learning some new things!
